About Me
I am Dr. Úrsula Casado, a specialist in Psychiatry,
deeply passionate about mental health and psychopharmacology.
I have dedicated my career to accompanying people on their journey toward emotional well-being through close, rigorous, and compassionate care.
I speak Galician, Spanish, and English, which allows me to see my patients in the language in which they feel most comfortable.
I have experience in the approach to various psychiatric disorders, including anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, and ADHD in adults, an area to which I have devoted special attention in recent years.
My commitment is to offer a safe, professional, and judgment-free space, where each patient can feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their therapeutic process.
My Career
My career began in Galicia, where I completed my medical studies and subsequently specialized in Psychiatry. I trained at Hospital de A Coruña and developed my clinical work in various healthcare settings in A Coruña and Lugo.
Later I moved to Ireland, an experience that profoundly broadened my professional and human perspective on mental health care. There I worked in both the public hospital system and subsequently in the private sector, incorporating different clinical approaches and person-centered care models.
Throughout my career I have maintained a firm commitment to continuing education and the constant updating of knowledge. Psychiatry is a discipline in permanent evolution, and I consider it essential to offer care based on the most current scientific evidence, without ever losing the closeness and sensitivity toward each patient.
